The Universe Versus Alex Woods by Gavin Extence was not a great book group choice — but only because we didn’t have much to debate. We all agreed it was simply a lovely story. The group laughed throughout and thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

Our discussion wrapped up in just 30 minutes, after which we all headed out to the terrace. If you’re looking for an easy, feel-good read or a thoughtful gift, this is a book we would happily recommend.
