The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoyevsky

This novel is full of strong characters and the complex social situations they occupy. It is at its best in the clashing personalities of the brothers: the sensual and volatile, the intellectual and tortured, the spiritual and sensitive, and the shadowy and sinister.

Many of us started the book, but only a few finished it. Those who did, however, became great admirers of Dostoyevsky’s work.

Reader, take your time with this book. It is well worth the effort.
