The Penelopiad by Margaret Atwood

All in all, The Penelopiad by Margaret Atwood was an easy and enjoyable read.

While the story clearly has deeper meanings and invites different interpretations, it didn’t feel like a book that really stays with you afterwards. Atwood seems to aim for a more universal message through the retelling of Penelope’s story, but for us it didn’t quite land as strongly as it could have.
