While certain moments in the story felt slightly exaggerated or at times even a bit unbelievable, the overall narrative remained gripping and impactful. Hosseini’s portrayal of the characters and their resilience is both heartbreaking and inspiring.

I ultimately found this novel to be an even more engaging and intense read than The Kite Runner, with its strong emotional depth and unforgettable storytelling.
