I Curse the River of Time by Per Petterson

This was a mixed bag of reactions, ranging from some members responding rather dismissively to the book, to outright exclamations of it being an outstanding work. However, we all agreed that it is the sort of book that becomes more enriching the more you discuss it. Is this a classic 1960s Scandinavian novel—dark, cool, and honest?
