The Human Stain by Philip Roth

This is an excellent read. The group was astounded by the magic and charm of his writing. The text is undeniably dense, but it is clear that the author is a true master of the craft. The unexpected twist at the end was captivating. This is not a read for those looking for a fast-paced page-turner; however, if you are up for a challenge, this is a must-have.
