Bookclub Review

As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner inspired discussion, debate, and even laughter. What a wonderful choice for a book group. The novel’s plot structure successfully connects its many distinct voices, and the ending is strikingly apt and satisfying (a rare thing indeed).
The reading experience was intense, particularly given our limited understanding of the 1920s Deep South vernacular. Think Grecian tragic comedy yes, mind-boggling.
This is an excellent choice for the well-read reader.
