Yellow Dog by Martin Amis

The majority of the group agreed that Martin Amis has a difficult style to read; you either love it or you hate it.

The book is very abstract, which requires extra concentration from the reader. The main character is well developed; however, he is not at all a “nice guy.” The setting is excellent, and Amis certainly describes events incredibly well.

All in all, it’s a good read, but best suited to readers who enjoy a challenge.
