Underworld by Cathy MacPhail

I haven’t read anything like this since I was reading Harry Potter. It’s really creepy and incredibly good. I just couldn’t stop reading it. My favourite part was the intensity of the characters, which made the whole story even more gripping. If you enjoy chilling, atmospheric books, this is definitely one for you!
